Half caulked

I want to love caulking, so I’m stopping now. There are big cracks around the top of the tile in this shower- same shower with the singular broken tile- actually… that tile is why I came back here tonight- I was going to glue it down so I can grout it tomorrow night. But then I saw the caulk gun and that seemed like a lot more fun. I guess I still don’t know how they compare in the fun department. I do know the caulk gun requires a lot more patience than I was prepared for. It was incredibly satisfying tho.

It’s not perfect but it’ll do. I’m fixin to cover this whole shower with thin set mortar anyway, and re-shape the floor with deck mud and tinted cement. Holy shit, who am I?! Caulking and mortar and drainage contours.. FUCK YEAH. This whole shower will be fresh and bright and with any luck will even drain towards the drain.

Not today though. Today, I caulk. Halfway around the top. Half caulked. Caulk. Hah hah.
