Tile, singular.

Sunday post on Monday bc sometimes that’s how it goes.

Got the grout. Shoved the grout into the hole. Packed it in good and tight like a filthy fun night. Yeah I said that. Started covering the whole area with grout when something about the directions started to not seem right… so I read them again. They didn’t seem right bc I hadn’t read them right. See grout is just a filler. That scrappy old corner fuck of a tile needs to be GLUED DOWN first. Special glue. Thin mortar adhesive or some such. Got that. Gonna finish that not today.

Meanwhile scrubbed down the whole shower bc I remembered after getting all set up in there, stockinged feet and all, that I never went back to clean the spot where Moose left a midnight turd the other night- I just plucked it up with a piece of toilet paper and apologized for not taking him out before bed while flushing it down the toilet and trying not to barf. The memory was sensory and it made me gag while cleaning the shower. Then I didn’t like the chemical smell of whatever I’d used to clean the shower and I was on a bit of a terror so I cleaned it all over again with Mrs Meyers fall scented all purpose cleaner. Then I showered in the bathroom where the giant red spider climbed out of the tub drain because I can’t get this corner tile project wet until it’s complete. That’ll either make it get done quick, or I’ll shower in the red spider tub forever. it’s okay, spider gone.

Also installed this vacuum on the wall. Only had to move the mount once after drilling the first holes. Moved the fridge several times.
